Samsung Galaxy smartphone model been S3 best sellers in the last quarter, pushing Apple Inc (AAPL.(O) research firm analysis of iPhone strategy, which have dominated the rankings for more than two years,Strategy Analytics said Thursday.

Strategy Analytics estimated models Samsung S3 sold 18 million in the third quarter, compared with an iPhone 4 sales to 16.2 million. Strong sales of the logo that Galaxy S3 comes with a huge 4.8 inch touch screen helped a record of 7.3 trillion that is useful for the quarter July-September of Samsung.


"Samsung has proved very popular with consumers, Galaxy S3 and operators in North America, Europe and Asia," said analyst Neil Mawston, adding the new iPhone 5 will be probably the best spot to Apple once more in the current quarter.
