After completing her ground level(high school), she admitted into University of Hawaii at Hilo. A few days later, In 1982 she transferred to the University of Hawaii Pacific in Honolulu. In 1984 Palin awarded by the 'Miss Wasilla Beauty Pageant'. She also got 3rd rank in the 'Miss Alaska Pageant'. She returned to the University of Idaho in 1986 to complete her Bachelor Degree in Journalism.

Sarah Palin got married with Mr. Todd Palin. They have 5 children and also 2 grandchildren.
